The History
Harmons started as a small grocery store in Salt Lake City during the Great Depression.
The Harmon family has kept it locally owned for over 90 years, which is rare in an
industry dominated by national chains.
They've grown thoughtfully—never trying to compete with Walmart on price, instead
focusing on quality, service, and being part of the Utah community. The cooking
school, started in 1993, has become a beloved local institution.
